The show is aimed at a mainstream audience who appreciate a common, popular comedy series. This is because It is a huge section of the British public and will understand a lot of the transgressive humour used. Walliams and Friend airs at 9:30pm, which is after the watershed, because the show features transgressive humour so that the audience are captivated further.
